Privacy Policy

RowProof is a Shopify app provided by LJO dev. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete information when merchants use RowProof.

1. Information we process

We process the minimum information needed to provide the app:

• Shop domain, shop name, app authentication data, subscription status, and plan information
• Product data such as title, handle, SKU, barcode, price, inventory, variants, and publication status
• Product CSV content pasted or uploaded by the merchant
• Scan results, issue details, scan history, and limited CSV preview rows
• Technical logs needed for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service improvement

RowProof does not intentionally collect or store customer records, orders, payment information, or credit card numbers.

2. Purpose of use

• To provide read-only CSV preflight checks before product import
• To show scan history, plan limits, CSV previews, and issue exports
• To authenticate the Shopify app and confirm subscription status
• To investigate bugs, protect the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
• To respond to support requests

3. Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate RowProof:

• Shopify: app distribution, authentication, API access, and billing
• Render: application hosting
• Neon: database hosting
• Cloudflare: website delivery and security

App billing and payment details are processed through Shopify billing systems.

4. Sharing information

We do not sell merchant data. We do not share collected information with third parties except where required by law, required to operate the services listed above, or authorized by the merchant.

5. Retention and deletion

When a new scan is saved, history is capped at 5 scans on Free, 20 on Starter, and 100 on Pro. Each scan stores up to 100 CSV preview rows on Free, 1,000 on Starter, and 5,000 on Pro. Merchants can delete individual scans in the app. When the app is uninstalled, or when Shopify sends a valid shop deletion request, we delete the shop's session and scan data from our database.

6. Shopify data protection webhooks

RowProof supports Shopify data protection requests including customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact. Because the app is designed for product CSV checks, it does not intentionally store buyer-identifying customer data. When applicable, we verify the request and delete data linked to the relevant shop.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures such as access control, secret management, and encrypted transport to protect information handled by the app.
